Scanning transmission electron microscopy of Sr1.25Gd0.75TiMnO6 double perovskite.
High angular dark field image of Sr1.25Gd0.75TiMnO6 crystal.
Sr and Gd atoms occupy the position 'A' and Ti and Mn occupy position 'B' in ABO3 perovskite structure. Ti/Mn atoms are dimmer (because they have smaller atomic number) and Sr/Gd atoms are brighter.
Ti, Mn columns are clearly displaced (to the right) from the central position in the crystal cell.
